Located adjacent to our offices in Homosassa, High Springs, Palatka and Lake City these centers offer the community numerous opportunities for healing, coping, learning and discovery through a variety of support groups, educational programs, and the exchange of information and ideas.

The Grief Support Team at Hospice of Citrus County Inc./Hospice of the Nature Coast Coast provides quality grief services to families through grief support and education, both on a personal basis or in group settings.

While the death of a loved one is never easy, Hospice of Citrus County Inc./Hospice of the Nature Coast offers a wide range of grief counseling services designed to assist family members of any age to cope with their grief. We provide various levels of counseling and support after a death, including individual and family counseling and group support. Grief services are available to anyone who has suffered a loss. All services are provided by trained social workers, clinicians, chaplains and volunteers.

Ongoing, year-round sessions open to both hospice and non-hospice families.

Parent/Guardian Bereavement Groups - For adults mourning the death of a loved one.

Social Support Groups - For persons who have lost a loved one, offering interaction in an informal setting.

Crisis Intervention - Support for individuals or groups who are undergoing a crisis caused by a life-limiting illness or death.

Grief Programs for Children and Adolescents - children and adolescents experience grief as deeply as adults do; however, they may not know how to express their feelings, and may repress them or act out in a negative manner. In addition to the family counseling that is available,
Hospice of Citrus County Inc./Hospice of the Nature Coast offers specialized counseling for younger children and teenagers who are impacted by death of a family member or friend. These services are offered through the Herry's Kids Division of Hospice of Citrus County Inc./Hospice of the Nature Coast.
