Thank
you,
Hospice
My
husband,
passed
away
this
year
under
the
care
of
Hospice
of
Citrus
County.
He was
hospitalized
and
diagnosed
with
cancer.
He was
sent
to the
Hospice
Care
Unit
at CMH.
There,
he
received
the
best
of
care
and he
came
home
under
24-hour
care
of
Hospice
of
Citrus
County.
During
those
three
weeks
under
hospice’s
care,
he
visited
with
his
children
and
grandchildren
for a
few
great
days.
Unfortunately,
he
went
unresponsive
and
then
passed.
But
while
at
home,
these
hospice
nurses
gave
him
the
best
of
care,
love
and
compassion
and
treated
him as
if he
was
their
own
loved
one.
Some
read
to
him,
others
sang
…
tender
treatment
and
gentle
handling
and
loving
care
was
always
key to
each
of
them.
I have
a
great
admiration
for
these
nurses.
They
do a
wonderful
job in
a very
difficult
setting,
the
end of
life.
It
takes
a very
special
person
to do
this
and I
want
to say
thank
you to
all
who
work
for
and
with
Hospice
of
Citrus
County;
but
especially
to the
chosen
few
who
cared
so
devotedly
to my
husband.
Because
of
these
nurses
he
died
without
pain
and
with
dignity;
for
that I
want
to
thank
each
and
every
one of
them.
May
God
bless
you
all!
